The Valley Catholic High School Athletic Department is committed to enriching campus life through a program of interscholastic athletics and to promoting the development of qualities in the student-athlete that will serve the participating individual and the community.
Student-athletes not only learn about their sport but also about teamwork, dedication, responsibility and good sportsmanship while placing a high priority on academic excellence.
The athletic programs are based upon open communication and mutual respect among school administration, teachers, coaches, students, parents and officials.
Valley Catholic has a no-cut policy in athletics. All students can participate on an athletic team. Playing time and participation on the varsity teams for all of our sports is earned and determined by the head coach. Due to the number of participants, the boys’ basketball program offers three high school teams and sponsors one CYO team to ensure all players have the opportunity to continue playing basketball.

The Valley Catholic Charisma Dance Team won the OSAA Dance & Drill state championships on March 18, 2022 at Oregon City High School.
