A Letter from the VCHS Principal – September 2022

The beginning of the school year is full of feelings for students, parents, and staff. There is a little bit of sadness that summer has come to an end and there is some apprehension about expectations and unknown experiences. However, September mainly brings a high level of excitement. The buzz in the hallways is here and we all are grateful and looking forward to the upcoming year!

The 2022-23 school year will be busy and productive. In addition to the high level of learning and extracurricular activities, VCHS will be participating in the school accreditation process.

Accreditation provides a launchpad for school improvement. Using research-based standards and evidence-based criteria, the process garners input from our stakeholders – looking at all aspects of school functioning. At the end of the process, we will have valuable information to celebrate our successes and address areas where we can grow. This process allows all of us to work together to provide the quality education that is expected at Valley Catholic High School. We look forward to seeking your input and sharing our findings.

Speaking of excitement, I am so happy to join the VCHS community. I look forward to meeting each of you and being a part of your student’s high school experience.
