A Letter from the VCHS Principal – March 2023

This is always the time of year when we look back and cannot believe how fast the school year has gone. The holiday season is behind us and spring break is just around the corner. We are busy planning for the next school year through reenrollment, budgeting, and of course registration.

It is my hope that our students slow down and appreciate all that spring holds at Valley Catholic High School. In addition to spring sports and the move to outside competition (hopefully not plagued by rain), students will have the opportunity to participate in spring concerts, service-learning opportunities, AP exams, faith formation activities, academic awards, prom, and ultimately, graduation.

As we moved through the winter semester, one of the highlights at VCHS was our recent Spirit Week. Students participated in friendly competitions that brought us together as a community. Students and staff had fun and celebrated what it means to be a Valiant. The week ended with an incredible Lip Sync battle between the classes. What a joy to see all the students working together and performing top hits from various decades. If you did not have a chance to see the students in action, check out the fantastic pictures captured by our communications department: https://www.flickr.com/photos/valleycatholic/albums/72177720306018354

The joy is contagious!

And, may the season of Lent give us many opportunities to continue preparing for our greatest joy – Easter!
