Welcome Back to School!
We are absolutely delighted to welcome students back to school this week. After a summer of in-depth planning, seeing students in person brings a smile to all our faces. With a number of safety protocols in place, students have begun learning in new ways and with lots of creativity!
In addition to a new year, we bring a new vice principal to our school. Sarah Davis joined the team this August and has stepped right in to assist with back-to-school plans. Sarah was previously the principal at the Multnomah Education and Service District working with hospitalized youth. Her experience, excitement for Catholic education, and passion for working with children will be an asset to our school.
This year our school theme is “Peace Begins with a Smile.” This theme was chosen last spring by the faculty and staff in an effort to remind us all that even the smallest of things can have a great impact. This lesson comes from Mother Teresa and will be a focus this year.
