Dear VCES Families,
The start of this school year may look different, but the staff and I are still overjoyed that we get to see students again! We have been working hard to ensure that everyone starts the year with enthusiasm and excitement, and can’t wait to get back to learning.
Each year we reflect, discuss and pray about a theme for the new school year. Our theme this year is “We Are Blessed.” I cannot think of a more perfect theme for this particular time. Things may be challenging, but the Lord has blessed us all. We have each other and we have this community for support.
Additionally, we have quotes and Bible verses for each quarter that will help us further understand the theme. Our first quarter Bible verse is
“Blessed is the one who trusts in the Lord.” – Jeremiah 17:7.
These themes will be topics of conversation among the students and their teachers, helping each child to understand who God is calling them to be. We share the theme and quotes with our families so that students can make connections between school and home, and truly be inspired by our Lord Jesus Christ.
On behalf of the entire Valley Catholic Elementary School staff, we are beyond excited to begin this new school year with our wonderful community of students and families. We are committed to providing a high quality education: spiritually, socially and academically, in any format. Thank you for being part of our community.
