Dear Valley Catholic Community,

The first quarter of the school year has definitely been different than any other! The VCES staff is grateful to all of the parents and staff who have come together to work with our students. While we have been learning digitally, we have also found unique ways to keep our students connected. We held a pumpkin decorating contest with some incredibly creative designs, hosted a drive-thru trick or treating event giving out over 1,000 pieces of candy, and even our Marian Singers have blessed us with their voices by digitally composing their songs! Later this month we will connect with all of our parents virtually for conferences to share how their students have grown over this first quarter.

As we continue to navigate what lies ahead, we will continue to rely on each other. Our staff is thoughtfully planning for students to return to campus, with as little disruption as possible to the learning process once county metrics are met. We are ready to provide social opportunities for students who choose to attend, and we have plans ready for instruction to begin on campus. When it is safe, we can’t wait to have students back! As we enter the month of November, we remember to be thankful for this beautiful community and the support it shows for one another.

Many blessings and thanks,
Melissa
