Dear Families,
It is hard to believe that the month of May has arrived and there are mere weeks remaining in this school year. This month holds special meaning as it is one where we honor Mary, the Mother of Jesus. Pope Francis states, “Mary is a mother to every believer; Jesus would not leave his followers orphans.” Mary sets an example for us as parents through her unsurpassed support and unconditional love for her Son, Jesus. Mary challenges us to follow her parental example of loving service to each other.
This year, instead of gathering for Mass as a school, our first graders recorded a beautiful May Crowning prayer service to share. Each of our classes will get to see and be reminded of Mary’s love when watching together. Although this year is definitely different, we are so proud of how our students are still celebrating their faith among our school community.
