Dear VCES families,
As the season of Advent is upon us, we are excited to work with students and families on a service project to support the Community Transition School. CTS’s mission is to provide at-risk children with a stable educational environment that promotes their academic and personal growth. Their students come from homeless or transient families where poverty and uncertainty dominate much of their young lives.
In an effort to share the joy of this season, we are pairing our VCES classes with classes from CTS to fulfill a few of the needs and wishes of each student. It is a true gift to see our students bring in donations, knowing they are serving others in our community.
It is my sincere hope that each of you are able to spend time with loved ones this holiday season, and are reminded of the many blessings Jesus has given.
