A Letter from the VCELS Principal – October 2021

Dear VCELS Families,

October is here and fall is in the air! At the Early Learning School, we have been busy enjoying the new school year by meeting new friends and engaging in age-appropriate activities. From singing new songs, learning daily prayers and Bible stories, our youngest Valiants are adjusting to their new routines. Infants and toddlers are working on both fine and gross motor development and using their words with friends. Preschool students have been focusing on letter recognition and the recent feasts days for St. Therese of the Little Flower and St. Francis of Assisi.

At the end of the month, students are invited to wear Halloween costumes as we parade around campus. Weather permitting, students will visit different buildings on the SSMO campus as they wave from the sidewalks at a socially acceptable distance to our SSMO, Valley Catholic and Maryville family members. This event is one of many that remind us how blessed we are to be part of this community.

Thank you for a great start to the month. We pray that God continues to bless us all with His love, grace, and good health.

Sincerely,

Veronica Beck
