Dear VCELS Families,
As many of you may know, the past few days have been challenging at Valley Catholic Early Learning School. Last week we learned of two COVID-19 positive tests in our school. Thankfully, the two individuals experienced mild symptoms and are recovering at home.
The health and safety of our students, staff, families, and the wider Valley Catholic community are of the highest importance to us. Because case counts are rising in Oregon and nationally, we decided to close VCELS for two weeks to help curb the potential spread of the virus. Although not mandated by the Oregon Health Authority, we felt this was the best course of action to help protect the VC community. We will be re-opening on Thursday, November 12. During our closure, we will be performing additional cleaning and sanitizing in the school.
On behalf of the VCELS staff and teachers, we are grateful for the patience and understanding of our community. We look forward to returning to campus and working with our youngest Valiants.
