When I see all the beautiful flowering trees and the sunshine, I am so thankful that spring has sprung!
We are excited to announce that Amber Ploussard will be joining VCELS as our new Principal. Amber currently serves as the Principal at St. John the Baptist School in Milwaukie. She will transition to VCELS on June 20. We are thrilled to welcome Amber to the Valley Catholic Community.
As we finish a fun filled week of Teacher Appreciation, we also want to say thank you to all of our families for allowing us to share in the lives of your precious children. We wish all the mothers a Happy Mother’s Day! You are amazing, loving, strong, helpful, selfless, and graceful. You deserve to be celebrated!
Just a reminder that we will be closed on Monday, May 30 for Memorial Day.
In closing, I wanted to let you know that I will be retiring at the end of July. I feel so privileged to have been a part of this wonderful community for more than 16 years. It will be sad for me to leave the families, the children and the friends but I am looking forward to spending more time with my husband, sweet grandkids, and my 95-year-old mother.
