A Letter from the VCELS Principal – May 2021

Dear VCELS families,

April showers have definitely brought us May flowers. With the warmer weather, the ELS children have enjoyed walking around campus looking for beautiful flowers and plants. Some of our classes learned about the butterfly cycle and witnessed the transformation of caterpillars into butterflies. Releasing them into nature was the highlight of the week.

The month of April also gave us several opportunities for celebration. We started the month by celebrating the Week of the Young Child. Our youngest Valiants showcased their musical talents on Music Monday, experienced new foods on Tasty Tuesday, planted seeds in the garden on Work Together Wednesday, expressed their creativity on Artsy Thursday, and celebrated those they love on Family Friday. We ended the month with an Earth Day gathering (outside of course) with the Sisters. A visit to the Motherhouse is always a special day for us, providing smiles for all.

Thank you for your continued support as we work together to help our youngest Valiants grow and learn.
