Dear VCELS Families,
As we begin the month of February I would like to share some of the exciting things that are taking place at Valley Catholic Early Learning School. This past week we celebrated Catholic Schools Week with daily themes and appreciation for our VCELS teachers. We began the week celebrating our community and paying a socially-distanced visit to our friends at Maryville. Waving from the windows definitely puts a smile on everyone’s face. As the week progressed we celebrated our students with a special treat and celebrated our nation by wearing red, white, and blue. A very exciting event took place on Thursday when we celebrated our beloved Sisters of St. Mary with a visit from afar at the Motherhouse. It was a wonderful experience for both the children and the Sisters, as spending time together (even from a distance) helps strengthen our community bond and the mission of Valley Catholic School. We concluded the week by celebrating our fantastic faculty and staff, and were fortunate to have some yummy treats for them to enjoy. It truly was a great week filled with excitement and fun!
As the month progresses we will prepare ourselves for Lent and our Lenten journey with Our Lord. Thank you for trusting Valley Catholic with your child and for making Catholic education a priority for your family.
Respectfully,
Veronica Beck, Valley Catholic Early Learning School Principal
