Dear VCELS Families,
It is hard to believe that April is here. This month brings the celebration of Easter and the celebration of young children. VCELS will be celebrating The Week of the Young Child April 4-8. This annual celebration promotes a fun-filled week recognizing young children with hands-on activities encouraging movement and healthy lifestyles through music, food, and art.
As part of our celebration, we would like to help the children in our community. Northwest Children’s Outreach needs hygiene items to donate to children. During the week of April 4-8, we will be collecting:
- Shampoo Deodorant
- Toothpaste Washcloths
- Combs Razors
- Soap Feminine products
Donation boxes will be located in the ELS lobby. Thank you for your generosity to children in need.
Finally, as I conclude my last newsletter as your principal, I want to thank all of you for your trust and support during these past three years. My time at Valley Catholic Early Learning School has been a blessing and one I will cherish. The Catholic Church teaches us that parents are the first educators of their children, so with that, KUDOS to you for raising amazing children!
I pray each one of you is showered with God’s grace and peace as you watch your children grow.
