Dear Music School Families,
Valley Catholic Music School is off to a wonderful start — providing lessons to all students from kindergarten-age through adult. We are currently providing in-person lessons for violin and piano only at this time. All other instrumentation will be provided through online formats. We have many new students who have joined the music school to enrich their musical journey. It is our goal to provide excellence and share OUR love of music with YOU!
Fall recitals will be held online in November for all music school students. Please speak to your instructor about a date and time for your recital.

JUSTIN BULAVA, CLARINET and SAXOPHONE
Justin has been with VC Music School since 2014. He has been a wonderful asset to our program, providing private lessons in clarinet, saxophone and piano. Justin is a highly qualified instructor and brings forth creativity, patience and talent. He works with his students in their specialized instrument as well as gives them opportunities for ensemble playing, scholarship and competition preparation.

Justin Bulava is pleased to offer clarinet and saxophone lessons to the students of Valley Catholic Music School. Raised in New Jersey, he holds Bachelor and Master of Music degrees from Mason Gross School of the Arts at Rutgers University. As a teacher, Justin has taught a wide range of instruments to students of all ages, coached chamber music groups and student rock bands, conducted bands and orchestras, presented world music and instrument demonstrations, and more.
As a performer, he can be seen and heard in solo and collaborative settings throughout the Portland area. An avid proponent of modern art music, Justin enjoys working with local composers, producing concerts, improvising, collaborating with dancers and other artists, and listening to the sounds all around us.
